Civil Defense Operations Room Reflects Unified Efforts, Crisis Management Capacity

KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) -- From the first moments of the Iranian aggression against Kuwait, the General Directorate of Civil Defense operations room was activated as a center of readiness, uniting State institutions in action reflecting preparedness and crisis management.
The operations room includes civilian and military representatives working 24 hours to provide requirements, respond to inquiries, and operate monitoring screens overseeing roads and vital locations across the country with constant coordination among agencies.
Vigilant Civil Defense personnel protect lives and property by activating three tone warning sirens, including intermittent for imminent danger, undulating for occurring danger, and continuous tones indicating that danger has passed for citizens and residents.
The operations room handles reports and inquiries immediately, reassuring citizens and residents through continuous follow up, and stands as a model of vigilance reflecting sincere efforts to safeguard public safety under all circumstances nationwide always. (end)
