Indonesia's Leader in Jordan for Meeting with King Abdullah

(MENAFN) Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto touched down in Amman on Tuesday evening for a fresh round of high-level discussions with King Abdullah II, making his second trip to the Hashemite Kingdom in less than twelve months.

According to a royal court statement, Subianto was received upon landing at Marka Airport in Amman by Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, signaling the ceremonial weight afforded to the visit.

King Abdullah is set to hold formal talks with the Indonesian president during the course of the visit, the statement confirmed — though no details regarding the agenda or subjects of discussion were immediately disclosed.

Subianto's first visit to Jordan took place in April, making Tuesday's arrival a notable return engagement within a remarkably short diplomatic window.
