Zelenskyy Meets Croatian PM to Boost Regional Energy Security


(MENAFN) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met on Tuesday with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic to discuss strengthening regional energy security and expanding cooperation in gas and oil supply and storage.

According to the Ukrainian presidential media service, the talks also covered Ukraine’s European integration efforts and the steps needed to achieve EU membership.

Zelenskyy described Plenkovic’s visit as a “strong expression of friendship and solidarity with Ukrainians” and presented him with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 1st Class—a national award recognizing distinguished service in state-building, enhancing Ukraine’s international standing, and contributions to sectors including the economy, science, education, culture, health care, and public service.
