Iranian, Omani FMs Hold Talks on US-Iran Nuclear Negotiations
(MENAFN) Abbas Araghchi and Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi hold discussions on the most recent developments surrounding the indirect nuclear talks between the United States and Iran.
According to Iranian state media, the two top diplomats speak by phone on Sunday, assessing the current trajectory of the negotiations and examining how the dialogue is unfolding. Their conversation also focuses on logistical and technical planning for the upcoming round of talks scheduled for Thursday in Geneva.
Both ministers emphasize the need to sustain diplomatic engagement and reinforce efforts aimed at moving the negotiations forward.
Earlier, Al Busaidi announces the timing of the next meeting in a message posted on X, writing: "Pleased to confirm US-Iran negotiations are now set for Geneva this Thursday, with a positive push to go the extra mile towards finalizing the deal,” Al Busaidi wrote earlier on the US social media company X’s platform.
