Min. Al-Jalahma: Strong Turnout At Kuwait Sports Day Reflects Growing Public Awareness Of Health

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 14 (KUNA) -- The large turnout at Kuwait Sports Day reflects society's growing awareness of the importance of sports and their role in promoting health and quality of life, said Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs Dr. Tareq Al-Jalahma.
In a press statement following his participation in the event held on Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Bridge, Minister Al-Jalahma said the activity, which coincides with Kuwait's national celebrations, embodies the highest meanings of social cohesion and solidarity.
He also extended congratulations to the political leadership on the occasion of the national holidays.
The minister noted that the ministry is keen to further develop the event each year by diversifying activities and expanding participation to help spread sports culture and encourage all segments of society to adopt an active lifestyle.
He stressed that all parties involved in organizing and implementing the event, whether government and private entities, volunteers or participants, played a positive and effective role in its success, emphasizing that teamwork is key to achieving such accomplishments.
