My research and publications encompass diverse areas, including global Indigenous aging, cross-cultural aging, mental health and substance use among older adults, long-term care, gambling in later life, elder abuse, social capital in aging populations, and social work leadership. Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Social Work and Co-Chair of the Human Research Ethics Board at the University of Manitoba.
