Trump Confirms Barrels of Venezuelan Oil
(MENAFN) U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that relations with Venezuelan leadership are progressing positively, noting that roughly 50 million barrels of Venezuelan oil are on their way to Houston, Texas, according to reports.
When asked by reporters in the Oval Office whether he planned to collaborate with Colombian leadership to address “terrorist organizations” in Venezuela, Trump said:
“Well, they want me to do that, and we will.”
He added:
“We’re getting along very well in Venezuela with the leadership. We took in 50 million barrels of oil. It's right now heading to Houston, and we’re getting along very well with them.”
Trump also described his earlier meeting with the Colombian president as productive, stating:
“We got along very well.”
