Nvidia, Dassault Systemes Partner to Build Industrial AI Platform
(MENAFN) Nvidia announced on Tuesday a long-term partnership with the French software firm Dassault Systemes to create a joint industrial AI platform aimed at supporting applications across multiple sectors through large-scale AI infrastructure, according to reports.
"Combining Dassault Systèmes’ Virtual Twin technologies with NVIDIA AI infrastructure, open models and accelerated software libraries will establish science-validated Industry World Models, and new ways of working through skilled virtual companions on the agentic 3DEXPERIENCE platform, that empower professionals with new expertise," the US tech company said.
The collaboration is designed to advance industrial AI beyond individual products by embedding AI systems into technical constraints, physics, and verified industry knowledge. The companies said the outcome will be "industry world models" that can serve as systems of record for creating, modeling, and operating complex products and manufacturing processes.
The partnership will begin with Dassault’s Catia design software running on Nvidia graphics processors and will expand into GPU-accelerated physics simulations using Nvidia’s Cuda and RTX technologies. The alliance builds on over 25 years of cooperation between the two companies.
According to the firms, the initiative represents a shift toward "physical AI," in which systems are designed to understand and reason about the real world rather than relying solely on text or images.
Dassault Systemes noted that it will deploy Nvidia infrastructure across three continents to establish "AI factories" under its Outscale cloud brand, preserving data sovereignty, intellectual property rights, and regulatory compliance while enabling clients to develop and operate AI models.
