Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index opened trading at 13,725.45 points before adding 254.37 points beyond Monday's settlement.
The benchmark touched an intraday low of 13,660.78 points, while reaching a session peak of 13,926.55 points during trading hours.
The index's total market capitalization stood at approximately 13.76 trillion Turkish liras ($316.9 billion), accompanied by daily transaction volume hitting 249 billion liras ($5.72 billion).
Market breadth showed 83 constituents posting gains while 16 securities declined relative to the prior session's close.
Precious metals trading saw gold quoted at $4,922.85 per ounce, while Brent crude petroleum traded at $66.75 per barrel at 6.30 pm local time (1530GMT).
