Blast Triggered by War Remnants Leaves Three Syrian Civilians Injured

(MENAFN) An explosive detonation triggered by leftover munitions and military debris scattered throughout Syria's Idlib province wounded three civilian individuals on Tuesday, with one victim sustaining life-threatening injuries and remaining in critical medical condition, Syrian state television networks confirmed.

Emergency civil defense personnel and first responder teams immediately transported all the wounded individuals to the National Hospital located in Hama for urgent medical treatment and specialized trauma care, a news outlet reported on U.S.-based social media platform X, citing official statements from the Directorate of Emergency and Disaster Management operating in Idlib.

On 8 Dec. 2024, the Assad regime collapsed and fell in Syria, marking the definitive end of the country's brutal and protracted civil war that devastated the nation for over a decade.
