Erdogan to Take Trip to Saudi Arabia, Egypt


(MENAFN) Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday and Egypt on Wednesday, the Presidential Communications Director confirmed on Monday.

In Riyadh, Erdogan will meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and share perspectives on regional and global developments, according to Burhanettin Duran.

Erdogan will then travel to Cairo on Wednesday at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to co-chair the second meeting of the Türkiye-Egypt High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. During this visit, the two leaders are expected to address bilateral issues and exchange views on regional and international matters, with a particular focus on Palestine, Duran added.

Additionally, Erdogan will participate in the Türkiye-Egypt Business Forum in Cairo, highlighting opportunities to enhance economic and investment ties between the two nations.
