Turkey Denounces Terrorist Attacks, Offers Condolences to Pakistan
(MENAFN) Türkiye expressed condolences on Saturday for Pakistani soldiers killed during clashes with militants in the southwestern Balochistan province and strongly condemned the attacks.
In a written statement shared on Turkish social media, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye denounced the violent incidents and extended sympathy to the people of Pakistan, offering prayers for the soldiers who lost their lives. The statement also reaffirmed Türkiye’s support for Pakistan in its ongoing fight against terrorism.
Initial reports from Pakistan indicated that at least 15 soldiers, 11 civilians, and 108 militants were killed in clashes as security forces successfully thwarted major “coordinated” attacks early Saturday in Balochistan.
