Belarus Seeks Deeper China Partnership
(MENAFN) Belarus intends to intensify its top-tier strategic partnership with China, President Alexander Lukashenko declared Tuesday.
Addressing a session focused on bilateral collaboration, Lukashenko emphasized China's rising significance as a cornerstone of Belarus's diplomatic and economic strategy during a period of worldwide geopolitical transformation. "China is not only our most important partner, but also a major partner for all countries committed to development," Lukashenko said.
China now ranks as Belarus's second-largest trading partner, with exports to China surpassing those to the EU, Lukashenko said. He urged more aggressive initiatives to broaden market entry into China and secure additional Chinese capital investment.
He also highlighted advancements at the China-Belarus Industrial Park, where dozens of Chinese companies have registered, and committed to rapid execution and expedited timelines for all previously announced ventures.
