Civilians in Syria’s Ayn al-Arab begins crossing humanitarian corridor

(MENAFN) Civilians in Syria’s Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) district in Aleppo province, an area under the control of the YPG/SDF, have begun leaving through a humanitarian corridor opened by the Syrian Army.

According to official information, families in Ayn al-Arab started passing through the “Nour Ali” humanitarian corridor, which was designated by the Syrian Army’s Operations Command to enable civilians to exit the area safely.

On Sunday, the Operations Committee announced the opening of two humanitarian corridors along the Raqqa–Hasakah–Aleppo route.

As part of the plan, the first corridor was set up near the village of Tal Dawud on the Raqqa–Hasakah road in coordination with authorities in Hasakah. The second corridor was established near the village of Nour Ali at the Ayn al-Arab junction on the M4 highway, in coordination with authorities in Aleppo.

Officials stated that the corridors were created to support the delivery of humanitarian assistance and to ensure the safe movement of urgent and vulnerable civilian cases.
