Palestinian man gets murdered by IDF in Gaza
(MENAFN) A Palestinian man was murdered on Monday by Israeli gunfire in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, an area from which Israeli forces had previously withdrawn under the ceasefire, medical sources reported.
The man, identified as Mohammed Khaled Abed, murdered from a head wound in the al-Zarqa area of al-Tuffah. Witnesses said the area had been evacuated earlier in accordance with the ceasefire.
In a separate incident, a young girl, Badria Issam Saqr, was injured by Israeli gunfire in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Palestinians have accused Israel of repeatedly violating the truce, which had paused Tel Aviv’s two-year conflict that has murdered over 71,000 people—mostly women and children—and injured nearly 171,400 since October 2023. Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that at least 484 people have been murdered and 1,321 others wounded since the fragile ceasefire began.
