Aselsan Secures Asia-Pacific Defense Contract
(MENAFN) Turkish defense powerhouse Aselsan announced on Monday that it has finalized an international sales agreement valued at $171 million with a customer in the Asia-Pacific region.
According to a statement shared on Türkiye’s Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the arrangement covers the export of "communication systems and payloads for unmanned surface vehicles." The identity of the client was not disclosed.
Founded in 1975 and based in Ankara, Aselsan has expanded to become one of Turkey's foremost defense companies. It is recognized as one of the top 50 defense firms globally.
