Israel murders three Palestinians in new assaults on Gaza

(MENAFN) Three Palestinians were killed and a fourth injured in renewed Israeli attacks in southern Gaza on Monday, representing a violation of last year’s ceasefire, according to medical sources.

The casualties occurred when an Israeli quadcopter targeted individuals in the al-Balad area of Khan Younis. Reports also indicated that a Palestinian woman was wounded by gunfire in the al-Batn al-Sameen area of the same city. Both locations were previously designated as zones from which Israeli forces had withdrawn under the ceasefire agreement.

The incidents followed Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across multiple parts of the Gaza Strip earlier on Monday.

Since October 2023, Israeli genocide has resulted in over 71,400 deaths, mostly among women and children, and left more than 171,000 injured, devastating the enclave. Despite the ceasefire, attacks have continued, with at least 442 Palestinians murdered and over 1,200 others wounded, according to health authorities.
