Strike On Kyiv Targets Crucial Heat Supply Facilities, Says Kharchenko
“The massive strike on the Kyiv energy hub was concentrated mainly on the left bank and key heat and power supply facilities in the city. All thermal power plants and a large number of substations were attacked,” Kharchenko said.
According to him, energy companies are now focused on restoring heating in the capital. The expert hopes that heating can be restored to some consumers by the end of the day, specifically on the left bank of Kyiv.
“Kyivteploenergo is actively working to restore power to people as quickly as possible, but where there is no heating on the right bank, restoration will be more difficult,” Kharchenko said.
