Kate Davies
- PhD candidate, Nottingham Trent University
Kate Davies is a PhD candidate studying wildlife rehabilitation within the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences at Nottingham Trent University. Her research explores how wildlife rehabilitation is regulated and practiced across Europe, and examines post-release behaviour using European hedgehogs as a model species. Prior to this, she undertook a masters degree in Ecology at the University of Brighton.
Kate's research interests include human–wildlife interactions, coexistence and behavioural ecology. She is also a professional ecologist with over ten years' experience in both the public and private sectors, with a strong commitment to protecting the natural environment through evidence-based practice.
