Dr Erin Smith is an Associate Professor and Discipline Lead (Paramedicine) at La Trobe University. Erin is the Director of the Violet Vines Marshman Centre for Rural Health Research at the La Trobe Rural Health School. Erin completed her PhD with the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. She has also completed a Master of Public Health and a Master of Clinical Epidemiology. Erin is a member of the Mental Health Advisory Group of the Emergency Services Foundation (ESF) and served for seven years as a Board Director for the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM).
