Erdogan, Tchiani hold phone talk on regional, global developments
(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation on Monday with Nigerien President Abdurrahman Tchiani, during which they exchanged views on regional and international developments.
According to general statements on the call, Erdogan underscored the priority Ankara places on deepening its relationship with Niamey and reaffirmed Türkiye’s ongoing support for Niger across multiple sectors.
He also conveyed that both sides intend to pursue further measures to expand bilateral cooperation, with particular focus on areas such as energy, mining, and defense, as part of efforts to strengthen ties between the two countries.
