Munich Airport spokesperson Robert Wilhelm confirmed the incident unfolded without requiring airport emergency response teams.
"The Air France plane made a safe emergency landing on the southern runway at 8.19 pm. No intervention was required from the airport, and all passengers were able to disembark safely," Wilhelm told the newspaper.
