I am a tourism geographer in the Department of Geography, Environmental Management and Energy Studies at the University of Johannesburg. I have published over 100 papers, book chapters and monographs on a variety of topics in tourism geography. These included publications on second homes tourism in South Africa, Mozambique, China and Sweden, urban tourism in Johannesburg, and climate change and tourism topics in Southern Africa more broadly. Of late I have been engaging in topics around cultural and creative tourism in South Africa.
