Army Foils Drug Smuggling Attempt Using Drone

Amman, Dec. 5 (Petra)-- On Friday morning, the Southern Military Zone thwarted a drone attempt to smuggle a large amount of drugs on its western border and under its jurisdiction.
The Anti-Narcotics Department and military security agencies collaborated on this. After the drone was discovered by border guards and shot down within Jordanian territory, the rules of engagement were implemented. The appropriate authorities received the confiscated drugs.
