Turkey hosts Vizyoner'25 future vision event in Istanbul

(MENAFN) The Vizyoner’25 summit, centered on the theme “Connectivity: Order-Disorder-Reorder,” took place in Istanbul on Tuesday, bringing together leaders from business, academia, and industry to explore the dynamics shaping the future. The event focused on how emerging global orders will influence society, culture, technology, and economic systems, emphasizing strategies to strengthen networks and collaborative efforts. Panels and interactive sessions addressed how businesses can navigate complex challenges in a highly interconnected world, and reports note that international participants contributed insights from diverse sectors.

During the summit, MUSIAD President Burhan Ozdemir emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in the coming global order, stating, "The new order will be one of shared wisdom, shared values, and shared responsibilities. And it must be, or the world will be turned upside down." He stressed that global challenges cannot be solved in isolation and that technology should develop alongside human capacities, noting, "No problem is isolated anymore and that there is no unilateral solution." Ozdemir highlighted connectivity as a crucial concept for navigating future economic and social landscapes, explaining, "That's why we put the word 'connectivity' at the conceptual center of Visionary this year. Because the future order will be shaped by connections."

Additionally, Türkiye Wealth Fund CEO Arda Ermut outlined the Fund’s accomplishments, highlighting its rise among the world’s top 10 sovereign wealth funds before even reaching its tenth year. He reported that the Fund manages 34 companies and licenses across eight sectors and anticipates further growth as its assets expand and new acquisitions are made. Ermut stated, "We believe that our ranking will change positively both as the value of our assets increases and as we acquire more companies and assets."

Overall, the summit reflected Türkiye’s ambition to advance regional and global connectivity while preparing businesses and institutions for a future driven by collaboration, innovation, and integrated networks. Reports indicate that the event reinforced the need for coordinated approaches to economic resilience, cultural engagement, and technological development.
