Israel murders over three hundred fifty Palestinians since true

(MENAFN) Local authorities in Gaza said Sunday that Israeli attacks have left at least 357 Palestinians dead and 903 wounded since the ceasefire went into effect on Oct. 10, according to general reports.

Gaza’s Government Media Office stated that most of the casualties were women and children. The office also reported that Israeli forces detained 38 individuals and documented 591 violations of the truce, including direct shooting at civilians, shelling, damage to homes and tents, and demolitions.

These incidents were described as evidence of “the (Israeli) occupation’s insistence on undermining the agreement and creating a bloody reality on the ground that threatens security and stability in the Gaza Strip.”

The statement further argued that Israel’s repeated actions during the ceasefire “constitute systematic crimes intended to expand destruction and collectively punish the population, amounting to a grave breach of the Geneva Conventions.”

The media office urged US President Donald Trump, the mediators and guarantors of the truce, and the UN Security Council to intervene decisively to stop the attacks and ensure that Israel adheres fully to the terms of the ceasefire.

The ceasefire arrangement—brokered by Türkiye, Egypt, and Qatar with US support—took effect on Oct. 10 after two years of Israeli military operations that, according to Gaza authorities, resulted in more than 70,000 deaths, mostly women and children, and over 170,000 injuries since October 2023.

Under the first phase of the agreement, Israeli hostages are to be exchanged for Palestinian prisoners. The broader plan includes reconstruction efforts in Gaza and the creation of a new governing structure that excludes Hamas.
