Watch: Stray Kids's Lee Know Performs Despite Injury, Reaches Airport In Wheelchair

Artists injuring themselves on stage and continuing as if nothing happened is not an unusual sight in the world of K-pop. During this year's MAMA awards - the biggest music award ceremony in the industry - incidents of injuries left fans worried and questioning the value of health and wellness.

Boyband Stray Kids' Lee Know was seen limping on stage during his dance sequences after twisting his ankle while rushing on stairs between segments.

Despite the pain, he continued his performances. Some fan videos showed him wincing from the pain while going backstage after the dances. Later on, when the group bagged the award for 'Album of the Year', the band's members were seen supporting him on stage during their speech.

The injury was confirmed when Lee Min-ho was spotted at the airport sitting in a wheelchair while the other members walked into the airport. Fans were heard cheering on for the band as well as wishing well for the injured star.

Another clip shows Felix endearingly fixing Lee Know's hair while waiting in line.

Fans were quick to send their best wishes to the artist in comment sections, while admiring his dedication to his career.

'Gosh seeing Lee Know injured like this breaks my heart....I hope he gets well soon and receives the necessary treatment, i'm glad he's not pushing himself to walk and let his ankles rest," said one user.

"Lee know serving despite being injured," tweeted another fan.

This was not the only major injury during the show. Girl group Idle's member Minnie reportedly hurt herself while coming down from a prop sofa during rehearsal. The artist went on to perform on the main stage despite the injury.

The 28-year-old was seen later at the airport being escorted in a wheelchair.
