Kashmiri Startups Step Into the Financial Spotlight
Srinagar- On a crisp Saturday morning at Jehangir Chowk, a group of Kashmiri entrepreneurs gathered at the J&K Bank branch, clutching prototypes, sketches, and business plans.
The session, organized by Startup Kashmir in collaboration with the bank, promised clarity on one of the most elusive aspects of entrepreneurship: finance.
Shahid Ansari, Startup Kashmir's CEO, opened the session by stressing that ideas alone could not carry a venture forward.
ADVERTISEMENT“A brilliant concept needs an equally robust financial plan,” he said, surveying the room of eager faces.
Khair Ull Nisa Shah, director at Startup Kashmir, emphasized mentorship and ecosystem support, setting the stage for practical advice rather than abstract theory.
The session quickly turned hands-on. Founders like Furqan Qureshi of Cartzu, Rizwan Bashir of Helixionlink, Sarwan Kumar of Safar Sarthi, Bilal Ahmad of Bilal's Innovative Solar Automobiles, Amir Mir of Upheld AI, and Wajahat Dar of Harmain Services received guidance tailored to their ventures.
