War Update: 234 Engagements On Front Line, Russians Make 62 Attempts To Break Through Ukrainian Armed Forces' Defenses

"Since the beginning of this day, there have been 234 combat engagements in total. The Russian invaders carried out 25 airstrikes, dropping 82 glide bombs. In addition, they used 1,811 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,829 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas," the post states.

According to the General Staff, in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, there were 20 combat engagements with Russian invaders, three of which are still ongoing. The enemy carried out 79 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, one of which was with a multiple rocket launcher system.

Today, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 12 times in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, in the areas of Synelnykove, Vovchansk, and in the directions of Kolodiazne, Dvorichanske, and Kutkivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy conducted six offensive actions today toward Petropavlivka, Bohuslavka, and Pishchane. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, the Defense Forces repelled 16 enemy assaults in the areas of Kopanky, Hrekivka, Karpivka, Shandryholove, Novoselivka, Novomykhailivka, Torske, and in the directions of Korovyi Yar, Novyi Myr, Shyikivka, Drobysheve, and Stavky. Five more engagements are ongoing at this time.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy attacked 15 times near Serebrianka, Dronivka, Vyimka, and in the directions of Siversk, Sviato-Pokrovske, Pazeno, and Zvanivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders once in the area of Chasiv Yar.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, there were 28 combat engagements today. The enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, and in the directions of Ivanopillia, Berestok, Predtechyne, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked 62 times in the areas of Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Lysivka, Dachne, Filiia, and in the directions of Nove Shakhove, Rivne, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, and Novopavlivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

According to preliminary data, 132 occupiers have been neutralized in this sector today, 100 of them irreversibly. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed two armored combat vehicles, two motorcycles, four units of automotive equipment, one ground robotic system, 18 drones, and one personnel shelter, and they hit one vehicle and nine personnel shelters.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 27 enemy attacks in the areas of Ivanivka, Zelenyi Hai, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Yalta, Sichneve, Vorone, Stepove, Verbove, Pryvilne, Voskresenka, Krasnohirsk, and in the direction of Oleksiivka. Three attacks are still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, the aggressor attempted to advance nine times on the positions of our troops in the area of Rivnopillia and toward Zatyshshia. Three combat engagements are still ongoing. The enemy carried out an airstrike on Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv sector, defenders repelled eight attacks in the areas of Shcherbaky, Stepove, and in the directions of Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, and Prymorske.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to approach the positions of Ukrainian units toward the Antonivskyi Bridge. The enemy carried out an airstrike on Prydniprovske.

As Ukrinform reported, during the counteroffensive the Defense Forces liberated over 430 km2 north of Pokrovsk.
