Afghanistan U-19 Cricket Team Defeats India U-19 'B' Side
KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan's Under-19 national cricket team defeated India's Under-19 'B' side by 71 runs in their first One-Day match of a triangular series.
The triangular series between Afghanistan U-19 and India's U-19 'A' and 'B' teams kicked off today.
As part of the tournament, Afghanistan played their opening 50-over match today against India U-19 'B' in India.
Batting first, Afghanistan were bundled out for 168 runs.
The Indian side failed to chase the target and were dismissed for only 79 runs, handing Afghanistan a 71-run victory.
In the bowling department, Abdul Aziz shone for Afghanistan, taking six wickets including a hat-trick.
