(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 12 (KUNA) -- Swedish Ambassador Fredrik Floren described the relations between his country and Kuwait over the past six decades as historic and distinguished, marked by friendship and mutual trust.
Speaking at a reception celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties on Wednesday, Floren highlighted the steady growth of cooperation since 1965, including a recent MoU on Political Consultations and past collaboration at the UN Security Council in 2018.
He noted expanding partnerships in technology, energy, and artificial intelligence, and pointed to the Kuwait Towers, designed by Sweden's Lindstrom firm, as a symbol of enduring ties.
Floren praised Kuwaiti entrepreneurs for strengthening bilateral trade and reaffirmed Sweden's commitment to deepening cooperation across political, economic, and cultural fields. (end)
