Jordan, Kuwait officials meet to strengthen bilateral ties
(MENAFN) Lower House Speaker Mazen Al Qadi met on Monday with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Rashid Al Marri to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on parliamentary cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides highlighted the strong historical ties between Jordan and Kuwait under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Sabah. They stressed the importance of ongoing dialogue and coordination to promote shared interests and further consolidate the longstanding partnership between the two nations.
Al Qadi emphasized that Jordan and Kuwait have traditionally maintained aligned positions on key Arab issues, noting that their relationship is grounded in mutual trust, respect, and appreciation.
Ambassador Al Marri affirmed the strength of the bilateral relationship and its steady growth across multiple sectors. He also commended King Abdullah’s leadership, praising his steadfast positions and efforts to bolster regional security and stability.
