Abisola is a PhD researcher at the University of the West of Scotland whose research explores the social integration and lived experiences of Nigerian migrants in Scotland. Her work examines how migration policies and cultural transitions influence the reconstruction of identity, belonging, and inclusion. The study seeks to understand how migrants navigate identity change and how these processes shape their everyday experiences, participation, and economic advancement within Scottish communities.
Drawing on her background in business analysis and community development, Abi aims to translate her research into practical frameworks that support smoother integration journeys for migrants and strengthen social cohesion across diverse communities.
