Ahead of Bihar elections, RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan's CM face Tejashwi Yadav made a major poll promise. He announced that after forming the government, ₹30,000 per year will be deposited into women's bank accounts under the Mai Bahin Maan Yojana, starting from Makar Sankranti on January 14.
