After a powerful quake hit northern Afghanistan, India moved fast to help. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar spoke with Afghan FM Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, pledging urgent aid. India has already sent 15 tonnes of food and 16 tonnes of medicines and kits, reinforcing its regional humanitarian leadership.
