 OAB's Youthverse: Fun And Financial Empowerment To The Omani Youth

Oman Arab Bank  launched   YouthVerse, a dynamic and interactive platform designed to empower Omani youth and provide a space that celebrates their passion for creativity, technology, and esports. The initiative offered young participants the opportunity to unleash their potential, showcase their talents, and explore new skills in an environment that blended fun, competition, and collaboration.
 
The event reflects the Bank's ongoing commitment to supporting youth and creating an inclusive environment that nurtures young talent, inspires innovation, and helps build a confident generation ready to shape the future. One of the key highlights of the event was the Game Development Hackathon, organized in collaboration with the Oman Esports Committee. Over a 24-hour challenge, participants competed to design and develop innovative digital game prototypes - showcasing their programming, design, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills. At the conclusion of the hackathon, winners were recognized for their outstanding creativity and innovation. The first-place winner received OMR 700, the second-place winner received OMR 500, and the third-place winner received OMR 300 in recognition of their exceptional work. In addition to the competition, YouthVerse featured a range of interactive and entertainment experiences, including FIFA tournaments, gaming zones, a photo booth, coffee and food carts, and a chill-out area that encouraged connection and collaboration among participants. This created a lively atmosphere filled with positive energy, creativity, and excitement. More than just an event, YouthVerse served as a platform for empowering Omani youth - giving them the chance to express their ideas and innovations in a setting that celebrates modern creativity and ambition. It reaffirmed Oman Arab Bank's belief in the potential of young people and their crucial role in shaping a more innovative and brighter future for the Sultanate of Oman.
