03 November 2025: In line with World Mental Health Day, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) organized a“Health Day” event aimed at promoting awareness of mental and physical well-being and fostering a culture of happiness and wellness across the workplace.
The event saw wide participation from HBMSU staff, featuring a variety of interactive wellness activities and free medical check-ups, held in collaboration with Rashid Hospital - Department of Psychiatry, Creative Multi Solutions, and several leading hospitals and healthcare centers in Dubai.
Activities included psychological counseling sessions, free medical screening stations for blood pressure, diabetes, and body mass index, in addition to an“Ask the Doctor” corner, healthy nutrition consultations, and an interactive workshop titled“Mind-Body Balance.” Participants also enjoyed healthy meals and wellness giveaways throughout the day.
The initiative reflects HBMSU's ongoing efforts to promote institutional well-being and holistic health, in alignment with Dubai's vision of building a happy, healthy, and productive society.
It also reinforces the university's commitment to creating a positive and supportive work environment that places mental and physical wellness at the heart of its organizational culture - embedding happiness, sustainability, and quality of life as core values that guide its educational and administrative practices.
