Vitasta Law School Secures Dual Honours at National Moot Court Competition
Srinagar- Vitasta School of Law and Humanities, Srinagar, has distinguished itself with a stellar performance at the National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition, held from October 31 to November 2. The team achieved a remarkable double victory, securing a top rank and a special honor for conduct professionalism and legal spirit.
The event, hosted by Surana & Surana International Attorneys in collaboration with the Department of Law University of Jammu, featured nation's most promising law schools. The Vitasta team delivered an undefeated performance in the preliminary rounds, advancing decisively to the knockout stages.
Their journey to the semi-finals included notable victories over several esteemed institutions, culminating in a hard-fought quarter-final win against National Law University (NLU), Punjab. The team's compelling arguments and meticulous legal research were instrumental in their success, earning them the Third Best performer in the competition.
ADVERTISEMENTIn a testament to their character beyond the courtroom, the team was also conferred the coveted“Surana & Surana Spirit Award.” This distinctive accolade, determined by a vote among fellow participants, recognizes the team that best embodies professionalism, camaraderie, and exemplary conduct throughout the competition.
The achievers were formally felicitated by a distinguished panel, including Judges of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal, Justice Yousuf Wani, Justice Sanjay Parihar, and, along with Preetam Surana, Partner-Dispute Resolution & Head of Academic Initiatives at Surana & Surana International Attorneys, Chennai.
