Ukraine To Produce 600-800 Interceptor Drones Per Day By Late November Zelensky

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The head of state said this at a meeting with journalists, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I said earlier that by autumn, production would reach up to 1,000 interceptors per day – and it will. Of course, it's not an easy task. We believe that by the end of November, production will reach 600-800 interceptor drones per day, unless something goes wrong – because sometimes, as we know, strikes happen. And you should also know that strikes target not only our energy sector," Zelensky said.

He stressed that although there have been strikes on arms production facilities, all of them have since resumed operations.

"We haven't lost a single type of long-range weapon to date. At times, mass production slows down because certain components are hit – that's true. But we're also striking the Russians," he added.

He also noted that Ukraine is performing well in domestic missile production, with Flamingo and Neptune missiles already in use.

He explained that the government decided not to publicly disclose detailed information about missile and drone systems such as Palianytsia, Peklo, Ruta, and Flamingo, but stressed that their effectiveness can be seen in Ukraine's responses to Russia's massive attacks.

Zelensky earlier announced upcoming meetings with partners to strengthen Ukraine's air defense capabilities.
