Amman, November 3 (Petra) – The Digital Fabrication Lab at the Orange Digital Centre concluded Monday a series of innovative training programmes designed to empower students to turn their creative ideas into viable projects and strengthen their practical technical skills.
According to a statement issued by the company on Monday, the lab organised an intensive month-long training on sumo robot manufacturing, with the participation of more than 50 students from various Jordanian universities.
Eight teams were selected to design and build their own robots, which later competed in a tournament hosted by Al Hussein Technical University.
The programme featured specialised sessions in digital fabrication, mechanical design and programming strategies, in addition to hands-on technical guidance provided by expert engineers.
The lab implemented a four-month graduation project support programme, enabling students to develop their innovative concepts into functional technological projects in fields such as robotics, artificial intelligence and reinforcement learning, drones and surgical robotics.
