China says it will extend its visa-free policy by one year


(MENAFN) China announced on Monday that it will extend its visa-free entry policy for another year, while also including Sweden among the countries eligible for visa exemption.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the visa-free arrangements for France and other participating nations will now remain in effect until Dec. 31, 2026.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning also confirmed that Swedish citizens will be granted visa-free access to China from Nov. 10, 2025, through the same end date in 2026.

Additionally, China's Consular Affairs office stated on social media that the country’s unilateral visa-free policy for citizens of 45 nations has likewise been extended to the end of 2026.
