Doha, Qatar: The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received at the Amiri Diwan on Monday morning HE Han Zheng, Vice President of the friendly People's Republic of China, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were discussed, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields. The most prominent regional and international developments were also discussed, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.

The meeting was attended by HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, Head of the Amiri Diwan; His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers and senior officials.
