Earthquake Hits Timor-Leste And Indonesia
Dili: An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale struck northeast of Lospalos city in Timor-Leste on Sunday.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake occurred at a depth of 176.2 kilometers, about 137 kilometers northeast of Lospalos.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.
Also, an earthquake measuring 5.5 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the southwestern Maluku region of Indonesia on Sunday.
According to Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the quake's epicenter was located at a depth of 139 kilometers.
