Qatar Sends Urgent Relief And Humanitarian Aid To Displaced People In Sudan
Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar has sent urgent relief and humanitarian aid to the city of Al-Dabba in the Northern State of the Republic of Sudan, as part of its unwavering commitment to supporting the brotherly Sudanese people, particularly in light of the dire humanitarian conditions faced by civilians, including severe food shortages and a growing need for shelter and basic necessities.

The aid includes approximately 3,000 food baskets, 1,650 tents, and other supplies, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development and Qatar Charity, to support those displaced from El Fasher and surrounding areas. It is expected to benefit more than 50,000 people. Additionally, a special Qatari aid camp, named Qatar Charity, will be established.
This support is an extension of the State of Qatar's ongoing efforts to stand with the brotherly Sudanese people and alleviate their suffering caused by the armed conflict. It also embodies Qatar's leading role in strengthening humanitarian response and building bridges of solidarity with affected populations around the world.
