Ambra Suriano
- Marie Curie post-doctoral fellow, Lancaster University
I got my master's degree in Hebrew language, literature, and culture at the Sapienza University of Rome in 2019. I defended my PhD thesis in Aachen in 2023 about the narrative construction of Genesis stories and their theological and moral meaning. After completing a first post-doc about Jewish Renaissance in Northern Italy in collaboration with the University of Trento and the German Institution for Venetian Studies (DSZV) in Venice, I was awarded a Marie Curie on the (mis)use of the Bible in Israeli Politics. The project mainly focuses on the religious and biblical rhetoric used in the narratives of Israeli far-right groups since the 70s.
