Profile Articles Activity

I am Associate Professor of Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I am also the academic director of the Master's program in Economics of Markets and Organizations within the Erasmus School of Economics, a research fellow at the Tinbergen Institute, and an affiliated researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for the Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP) at Sciences Po, Paris.

My research explores labor market and organizational dynamics across three main areas:
Individuals' career aspirations and trajectories: analyzing how aspirations are formed, how they evolve, and how they align with actual labor market opportunities.
HR strategies in firms and organizations: studying compensation policies and performance evaluations, and their relationship with organizational performance and equity.
Public policies: evaluating programs and interventions aimed at supporting career transitions and reducing inequalities in the labor market.
My goal is to contribute to a better understanding of the mechanisms that shape how the labor market functions.

From 2018 to 2024, I directed the Women in Business Chair at Sciences Po, where I led research on the effectiveness of gender equality policies in organizations, and the barriers to their implementation.

My doctoral dissertation, defended at Université Paris Dauphine in 2012, focused on the influence of the pharmaceutical industry on U.S. trade policies, combining political economy and international trade.
