Doha, Qatar: The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced the closure of the underpass at Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange on Khalifa Boulevard for motorists coming from Gharrafat Al Rayyan towards Doha.

The authority said this in a social media post on Monday, adding that the closure will last for eight hours on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 12am until 10am, and will be carried out in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.

During the closure period, motorists coming from Garrafat Al Rayan towards Doha are advised to use the at-grade signals at the Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange as an alternative route, as shown in the attached map.
