Zhaoli (Joy) Dai-Keller (PhD, MS, MA) is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, University of Sydney, and a full-time academic Lecturer at the School of Population Health, UNSW. Zhaoli is a nutritional epidemiologist focusing on promoting a sustainable diet and nutrition to enhance healthy aging and longevity. Her research, from epidemiological studies to healthcare system and policy research, aims to improve the dietary quality of older people from diverse backgrounds. The goal of her research is to use food as medicine to better manage chronic diseases and well-being in older people and design and implement cost-effective interventions to reduce malnutrition in community and healthcare settings.
She is Co-Chair of the Global Health Ageing Working Group at Association of Pacific Rim Universities [APRU, Chair of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Working Group at the Nutrition Society Australia, Executive member of the Australia Association of Gerontology (NSW), Co-Chair of Aeing Research Network at School of Population Health, UNSW, Member of the UNSW Ageing Futures Institute, and Associate Editor in Public Health Nutrition.
