
Road Closures Announced On Al Mazrouah Road And Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor
Doha, Qatar: The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced a temporary full road closure of Al Mazrouah Road for traffic coming from Lusail via Al Mazrouah Interchange and heading toward Um Slal Ali.
The closure be in place from 2am to 10am on October 10 and 17, to carry out the removal and installation of an ITS Gantry.
Another temporary partial closure will be implemented at Fereej Al Ameer Intersection on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor affecting left-turn lane toward Al Shamal for traffic coming from Muraikh, and the left-turn lane toward Muraikh for traffic coming from Al Waab.
This closure will in effect on Sunday and Monday, October 12 and 13, 2025 from 1am to 5am, to carry out streetlight maintenance works.
The road works are being conducted in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During this period, Ashghal urges road users to adhere to the speed limit, use all available diversion routes and consider rerouting through nearby streets to reach their destinations
