Kuwaiti Info. Minister Receives Saudi Cultural Minister Ahead Of GCC Meeting

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 9 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information, Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi received on Thursday at the airport Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah Al-Saud and the accompanying delegation.
The reception came ahead of the GCC Cultural Ministers meeting to be held in Kuwait today.
During the reception, Minister Al-Mutairi told KUNA that the Cultural Ministers' meeting would hopefully reflect the regional leaderships' desire for more cooperation among GCC member states.
He also expressed wishes that the ministerial meeting would take decisions highlighting Gulf identity and bolstering relations among brethren.
He also commended ties with Saudi Arabia, which has vast capabilities within the cultural domain and other sectors. (end)
